I'm not your AT&T sandy

From our friends at the the Electronic Frontier Foundation.

While everyone else is kissing AT&T's ass `down at the Crown Plaza Hotel today the Advertising Federation are giving the company a "boldness in advertising" award, essentially, for hiring so many ad agencies to rollout their 2006 AT&T striped globe logo after putting another notch in their monopoly belt, acquiring SBC` we're blowing kisses at AT&T whistleblower Mark Klein. The former AT&T technician said he wasn't going to work on the Old Ma Bell's farm anymore and came forward last year with internal documents tying AT&T to the government's warrantless (and by one federal judge's standards, unconstitutional) NSA wiretapping program. We're not the only ones trying to give Klein a hickey. He's being honored with the James Madison Freedom of Information Award on March 13 in San Francisco.
