For just under $100, the newest airline in town pledges to take you to popular spots like Disney World or Las Vegas.
Low-fare carrier Allegiant arrived in San Antonio today, according to a news release from the city. Starting in early November, it will offer twice-weekly nonstop flights between SA and Las Vegas, Orlando and Fort Lauderdale.
According to the city's news release, fares will start at $49 one way (that includes taxes and fees and paying with a debit card; if you use a credit card, that's an extra $8).
"We're pleased to add San Antonio to our network and begin offering travelers ultra-low fares and nonstop flights to three of our top vacation destinations," said Jude Bricker, vice president at Allegiant.
