PechaKucha Vol. 22 Rescheduled Due to Inclement Weather

There's still more time if you haven't bought tickets for Volume 22 of PechaKucha San Antonio. Originally scheduled for tonight, May 31 at 7:30 p.m., the event has been pushed to next Tuesday, June 7 due to anticipated inclement weather (just look outside your window). The presentation will still take place outdoors at the Yanaguana Garden at Hemisfair Park.

Since 2011, PechaKucha 20x20 has provided San Antonians with the platform to share their ideas, findings and works with the local community in a simplistic and fast-paced format. The presentation format, derived from the Japanese word for "chit-chat," rests on a formal style of 20 images shown for 20 seconds each. It's like a TED talk that's less prone to rambling and self-indulgence.

San Antonio’s 22nd PechaKucha Night brings together activist and vegan restaurateur Rebecca “Rebel Mariposa” Lopez, Kristal Cuevas (“yogipreneur” at Southtown Yoga Loft), Armand A. Fermin (Army medic), Peter French (entrepreneur and community builder), Omar Gonzalez (Hemisfair director of real estate), Sam Lerma (filmmaker and educator), Elaine Kearney (landscape architect at TGB Partners) and Jeff Moore (cyclist and systems analyst).

In addition, the event will feature food from Bakery Lorraine, The Brooklynite, The Box Street Social, Creme de la Creme Food Truck, FOLC and more.
