Think we’re done with the Revolución? Not by a disparo largo. At the Carver Community Cultural Center this Thursday and Friday, check out dance dance Revolución: Into the Third Century, presented by the Erison Dancers, led by Chicago DanceMakers’ Forum Award-winning choreographer (and Palo Alto dance instructor) Erica Wilson-Perkins. The evening program is a three-parter, actually: Alysa Perez choreographs “Mujeres de Guerra,” Sonya Jimenez sets traditional “Bailes de Jalisco” to mariachi music, then come the Erison Dancers. Titles include “Madre La Llorona” and “Revolt!” and are backed up by music from Jonny Greenwood, Lila Downs, Sam Cooke and, live, Azul Barrientos, diva of Esperanza Peace and Justice Center’s “Noche de Azul” every second Wednesday. Presented by San Antonio Parks and Recreation. Revolución: Into the Third Century, Carver Community Cultural Center, 226 N Hackberry St, Thu, Oct 14, and Fri, Oct 15, 7:30pm, Tickets are free, but call (210) 207-6968 for reservations
