Saturday mornings, so often occupied by housework and errand-running (if you’re awake, anyway), could be made a lot more festive in general if there was a Huevolution: Huevos Rancheros Gala y Art Auction every week. There’s not, though: It’s this Saturday morning, and then you have to wait another year. This morning’s event, which is in the a.m., starts at 9 sharp and is over with by noon. Catering is by Estela’s Mexican Restaurant, and there’ll be musical entertainment by DJ JJ Lopez, Suzy Bravo and the Soul Revue featuring Frank Rodarte, and affordable art by many of our city’s biggest talents. All proceeds go towards San Anto Cultural Arts, the mural-making and community arts nonprofit founded by the late Manny Castillo. Wake up!
