Out of 182 cities, San Antonio was listed as the 88th most stressed with relatively-high levels of work pressure, financial instability, family issues and health & safety concerns.
To determine the ranking, WalletHub compared the four categories of stress in each location – including 150 of the most populated U.S. cities and at least two of the most populated cities in each state.
WalletHub then compared the categories using 37 relevant metrics. Each metric was graded on a 100-point scale, with a score of 100 representing the highest levels of stress.
San Antonio's scores are as follows:
- Work Stress: 94
- Financial Stress: 120
- Family Stress: 73
- Health & Safety Stress 80
Considering that San Antonio is one of the most populated metro areas, ranking at 88 is pretty low. Though we all deal with the burden of day-to-day life, it must be the margs that help us wind down and keep the stress away.
