San Antonio is One of the Best Cities for Small Businesses, According to Study

San Antonio ranks among the 20 best major U.S. cities to start a small business, according to a report from WalletHub. The report coincides with National Small Business Week, observed May 5-11. The week celebrates U.S. small businesses, which create an estimated two out of three new jobs each year.

Measuring the startup viability across 100 major U.S. cities, the financial website found that San Antonio ranked No. 5 in cost of living, No. 35 in financing access and No. 32 in workweek hours— putting San Antonio at No. 16 on the list.

Major Texas cities like Austin, Fort Worth, Houston and Dallas, also made the list, ranking above the Alamo City. To read the full report, click here.
