Residents can put questions to Nirenberg; former HUD Secretary and Mayor Henry Cisneros; developer and philanthropist Gordon Hartman; Jenna Sauceda-Herrera, CEO of the San Antonio Economic Development Foundation; and former Dignowity Hill Neighborhood Association president Brian Dillard. PR expert Trish DeBerry will moderate the town hall.
The three charter amendments are on the November 6 ballot. The changes would: force contract disputes with the San Antonio Professional Firefighters Association into arbitration; cap any future city manager's salary and tenure; and make it easier to challenge ordinances, including spending decisions, by public referendum.
