SAPD Officer Buys Groceries for Disabled Couple in Need

The San Antonio Police Department gave a shoutout to one of its officers who went beyond his duties and helped a local couple in need.

On Saturday, SAPD tweeted a photo of Officer Loy Garcia with the most heartfelt message. In the photo, Garcia can be seen shopping in the freezer section of a convenience store.
According to the police department, Garcia responded to a call where a disabled couple alerted police that they were unable to make ends meet. Garcia decided to take it upon himself to make sure the couple was taken care of by buying them groceries.

Plenty of San Antonians commended Garcia's actions.
