When a thief stole a giant inflatable Christmas decoration and a fog machine from his house, Ken Lamkin decided he would have a little fun calling out the “Grinch” who stole his Christmas decorations.

To get back at the thief, Lamkin put up five large poster boards with images captured on his surveillance system of the man who stole his decorations. (Part of the video of the theft can be viewed here.)

The poster boards, headlined with a sign reading “The Christmas Thief,” are in the same spot on his front lawn where there used to be a 16-foot-long inflatable decoration featuring Santa’s sleigh being carried by eight animated reindeer, Kens-5 Eyewitness News reported.

Lamkin didn’t stop there: he also added a projector to display the video of the theft taking place on his front lawn. The entirety of the theft, which took about five minutes long and happened at around 3 a.m. on Christmas Eve, can now be viewed by the entire neighborhood on Lamkin's front yard.

“It doesn’t only show that we know who your are, but it is also to show that you can’t take our Christmas,” Lamkin told Kens-5.
