Girl in a Coma will be opening the 2012 edition of CineFestival with a double treat: the screening of the early Jammin' documentary (directed by Jim Mendiola, the festival's curator, during the early stages of GIAC's career) and a concert at the Plaza Guadalupe (1327 Guadalupe) on Saturday, February 25. The documentary begins at 6 p.m. and will be followed by a Q & A with the band, and the concert starts at 8 p.m. and will also feature Austin's singer-songwriter David Garza. Presale concert tickets are $10 ($15 at the door), or you can pay $20 and have access to both concert and documentary/Q & A. I recommend you do just that. — Enrique Lopetegui
