Gotta love those organizations whose name makes it clear what they're about. Local Music Week, celebrating the culture, tunes and people of San Antonio's music scene, is back next week with a run of show from Sunday, May 17 to Saturday, May 23.

Stay tuned for a full preview of the week's festivities. For those who can't wait, a LMW lineup is available at Do210.

As a teaser for next week's action, SA rock 'n' roll trio Crown performs tonight on KRTU Indie Overnight. At 10 p.m., the commanding outfit will play live over the air, with limited audience seating available in the station's studio.

According to the press release, Local Music Week is "a celebratory campaign to showcase San Antonio's rich and diverse living music history, we embrace that all parts — from the musicians, to the venues, to the promoters, fans, and everyone in between — play a role in shaping our city's music legacy."
