Now in its seventh year, UTOPIAfest has hit the sweet spot of affordability, size and lineup quality. Friday through Sunday, September 4-6, UTOPIAfest features Explosions in the Sky, tUnE-yArDs, Of Montreal, RJD2, Charles Bradley, Man Man, The Suffers, Sphynx, Valerie June and many more on its one-of-a-kind camp-friendly, family-friendly, generally just friendly bill.

Located outside the small town of Utopia about 90 minutes West of San Antonio, weekend passes (including camping permit) cost $186. Perched in a natural amphitheater on the 1,000-acre Four Sisters Ranch, UTOPIAfest is unique in a few ways — they only sell 2,000 tickets, there's no overlapping sets and it's BYOB.
