The Dead Kennedy's have sold out their original show on Saturday, December 12 at The Korova and have added a second matinee show for Sunday, December 13.

While East coasters Henry Rollins, Ian Mackaye and Glenn Danzig were flexing their muscles, and heads in Mackaye's case, in front of hordes of writhing, swinging, akimbo-ed juveniles, The Dead Kennedy's were putting the surf in crowd-surf. With vocals provided by none other than Alternative Tentacles owner and spoken-word artist, Jello Biafra - the punk Fred Schneider (The B-52s) - covering topics ranging from nuclear proliferation, botched plastic surgeries, stealing peoples' mail and lynching landlords, Biafra, East Bay Ray (on the Fender Tele), D.H. Peligro (drums) and Klaus Flouride (bass), wreaked havoc on the ideologies of Reagan's "American Dream."

Although, Biafra has parted with the remaining Kennedys and has even sued the members over the use of Biafra-penned songs in Gap commercials and reunion tours, I'm sure "Police Truck" is in the setlist, which, as an instrumental on Tony Hawk's Pro-Skater video game, will be just fine for the kids, sans Jello.
