Gucci Mane, aka East Atlanta Santa, aka The Machine, aka Mr. Zone 6, returned to prison in 2013 after violating his probation, causing drank to spill all across this great land of ours. However, Big Guwop was released today, May 26, after a motion his lawyer Drew Findling filed several months back drawing attention to the state's oversight of time the trap god had already served was honored.

Gucci, who is widely considered the father of trap music – that hi-hat heavy, bass-booming noise all the kids are listening to – recently made headlines for releasing his 14th digital album, 1017 Mafia: Incarcerated on January 3, 2015, and the third installment of his Brick Factory series, Brick Factory 3, on his birthday, February 12, 2015, while locked up in Indiana's Terra Haute Penitentiary. Despite his incarceration, Gucci reportedly earned $1.3 million in 2014 while locked up.

Welcome back to the game, ice cream man! Hip-hop fans, artists and aficionados the world over are stoked to see how prolific the artist born Radric Davis will be now that he doesn't have to sneak around all Empire-style to spit fire and drop bombs. As for hip-hop's current royalty: Protect ya neck, fam, Gucci's coming for that trap throne.
