Hardcore art punks P I N K O's foaming at the mouth cacophony of noise is about to be unleashed onto America's east coast for their first major tour.

As a San Antonio supergroup, made up of members from Sohns (Alex Mendez), The Grasshopper Lies Heavy (Jared Flores) and Ghost Police (Ethan Campa), P I N K O meshes pieces from the music scene's fast 'n' furious underworld into inspired flashes of sound; fractured, jagged and raw. The unintelligible lyrics, delivered in guttural howls and yells, are probably the kind you'd find in Kurt Cobain's journals - stark, deep and disturbingly funny.

Along with their 2015 release, S/T, P I N K O is recording a split album with Kansas City's Bummer, set to release at an unknown date later on this year.

The kickoff concert will take place June 11 at Paper Tiger (2410 N. St. Mary's St.) starting at 9 p.m. with Buildings, The Grasshopper Lies Heavy and Hötzi.
