Posted By on Fri, Jun 24, 2016 at 8:00 AM

With the opening of The Well and rumors of Cowboys Dance Hall shutting their doors for good, dance halls have been quite the topic of conversation recently. If all this talk's got you itching to dig up your dancin' shoes, be sure to check out these one-of-a kind Texas dance halls that will have you boot-scoot-and-boogie-ing all summer long.

412 Luckenbach Town Loop, Fredericksburg, TX, (830) 997-3224

Hours: Sun.-Thur. 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Fri. 9 a.m. to 12 a.m.; Sat. 9 a.m. to 1 a.m.

One of the most well-known dance halls, Luckenbach Texas is a legendary spot for country music fans. Made famous by the Waylon Jennings song that took it’s name from the Hill Country town, this post office/general store & dance hall combo is the mellow, rural escape of every Inner-Texan’s dreams.
