San Antonio’s own Nothing More has just been nominated for three Grammys.

That’s a big fucking deal. And honestly, they deserve all three.

The dudes have been hitting it hard since 2003 (they're actually still on tour). Their last album The Stories We Tell Ourselves (nominated for Best Rock Album Of The Year) is solid AF, and is definitely worth listening to for anyone who appreciates solid rock ‘n’ roll.

***Nothing More released a statement to the Current shortly after receiving the news:

“We’re in the middle of our European tour right now and just as we were pulling into Prague we got the news. Three Grammy nominations! We can’t believe it! Thank you so much!”***

What’s also a little crazy is seeing these local boys placed next to bands like Metallica, Foo Fighters, Chris Cornell, and Mastodon.

Here’s their nominations, along with the other folks nominated in their categories:

Best Rock Performance

“Go To War” - Nothing More

“You Want It Darker” - Leonard Cohen

“The Promise” - Chris Cornell

“Run” - Foo Fighters

“No Good” - Kaleo

Best Rock Song

“Go To War” - Ben Anderson, Jonny Hawkins, Will Hoffman, Daniel Oliver, David Pramik & Mark Vollelunga, songwriters (Nothing More)
“Atlas, Rise!” - James Hetfield & Lars Ulrich, songwriters (Metallica)
“Blood In The Cut” - JT Daly & Kristine Flaherty, songwriters (K.Flay)
“Run” - Foo Fighters, songwriters (Foo Fighters)
“The Stage” - Zachary Baker, Brian Haner, Matthew Sanders, Jonathan Seward & Brooks Wackerman, songwriters (Avenged Sevenfold)

Best Rock Album

“The Stories We Tell Ourselves” - Nothing More

“Emperor Of Sand” - Mastodon
“Hardwired...To Self-Destruct” - Metallica
“Villains” - Queens Of The Stone Age
“A Deeper Understanding” - The War On Drugs

Congratulations dudes! Best of luck bringing all three Grammys home to the Alamo City!
