Devin the Dude has become so much of a household name that it wouldn’t be surprising if he followed in Snoop's footsteps and ended up on a Martha Stewart-type cooking show. Maybe with Bobby Flay or somebody.

And although he's not quite as famous as Snoop, Devin’s longevity in the game is a testament to his skill and continued drive to create and perform really solid hip-hop. That skill will likely be on display when he plays San Antonio on Sunday, July 7, at Paper Tiger.

Getting his start in Houston, but not sounding like he’s from any type of chopped-and-screwed camp, Devin the Dude released a solo album in ’98 and has been rapping about his love for weed ever since.

Although he doesn’t have a new album yet, 2017’s Acoustic Levitation still bangs, and it's likely that his upcoming performance includes a few tunes from that record as well as fan-favorites that have accumulated over his 20-plus-year career.

Tickets are not on sale yet, but check for details and updates.
