Los Texmaniacs

Bajo sexto player Max Baca was born in New Mexico but moved to San Antonio when Flaco Jiménez asked him to join his band. In 1997, Baca struck out on his own with Los Texmaniacs, a delightful combination of rock ‘n’ roll and tejano in the style of Flaco’s Texas Tornados. In 2010, Baca y Los Texmaniacs won a Grammy for Best Tejano Album with Borders y Bailes. $5, 9pm, Paper Tiger, 2410 N. St. Mary's St.
