From trails to picnic areas to fishing in the trout-stocked San Antonio River, this riverside park is one of San Antonios best places for outdoor activities.

Similar to the setup of Braunig Lake (and a one day pass to one of the lakes also allows access to the other), visitors have bank access and camping/RV areas available to them.

Bluegills, catfish and more await fishermen who come to Converse North Park City Lake. Stocked annually by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, the lake is great for recreational fishing.

Located in the Greenway a short walk from Rohde Park at the Buddy Calk Trailhead, this rugged spot is the ultimate man v. nature spot with no amenities but lots of catfish, perch and bass.

Though this park only has a few amenities-- 3 picnic tables, some benches, walking trail and pond with fishing--fishermen can still catch a few at this quieter spot named for a San Antonio patrolman who was killed in the line of duty.

This 7.87 acre park is located on the citys East side and is stocked with trout among other types of fish.

This reservoir is the center of this activity filled park. Two handicap fishing piers, one at the lake and one at the pond, are available and fisherman can look forward to trout in the winter and catfish & bass in the summer.
