2nd Annual Halloween Workout Party

Groove and shake off those candy bags with workout challenges and dancing with the music of DJ Mayhem in your best (and workout appropriate) costume with multiple studios to dance your candy off. Free.

Voices From the Grave: Cemetery Tour
7pm, Oct. 15, Historic Cemetery Center #1.
Take steps back in time within the final resting place of San Antonio’s brethren past with reenactments of scenes and docents in historical costumes providing insight on the residents’ lives and symbolism. $15-25.

Monster-Con’s Halfway to Halloween

With Halloween around the corner and people cramming time to enjoy poolside parties and the last of breezy air time, why not welcome the scary Halloween frights and costumes? Dia De Los Muertos

Dress up in your colorful sugar skull or skeleton costume and star in a parade if you never paraded before and then shop until you drop while celebrating the Day of the Dead with free activities in the Brown Expo and a mask-making workshop. $4.

Zombie Con 2016: Aftermath
5pm-midnight, Oct. 22, Plaza Del Rey Ballroom
San Antonio survived the apocalypse, became suffers of the bloodbath of zombies that wrought countless casualties and now the survivors must take on the aftermath… in the greatest “zombie-survivor” convention of Texas. Get a taste of the aftermath through zombie crawlers and brain eating contests, screams and growls and meet great local cosplayers such as Robert Cosplay and Sir Nick Justice. $10.
