"I am such a fun dog, I just don’t ever stop playing! An active family would have a wonderful time keeping me entertained and vice versa. I do need a lot of exercise, but that’s a good thing. I didn’t get this fine body from lying around watching Game of Dogs. Apparently a previous owner didn’t appreciate my friskiness and left me tied up or something, because I have a scar on my back from a harness that grew into my skin. But that’s behind me now and I’m ready for a new life. Let’s go!"

"Don’t I have a yummy name? I am a puppy so I can be a little crazy when I first get out of my run, but I am really a pretty good boy for my age once I calm down. They tell me I will grow into a pretty big boy but we big dogs are the best, don’t you think? I am waiting here for you to come meet me and we can play and go for a walk together, and then go home together."

"What could possibly be more fun than squeaky toys and rolling around in the grass? Getting lots of love from a human, of course! I adore people, and they seem to think I’m pretty cool too. I’m very friendly, and I have a cute habit of rolling over and asking for a belly rub. It’s irresistible. Any image of me looking distinguished vanishes when I do that, but I don’t care. What I do care about is finding a home. I bet if I show you my belly rub trick, I’ll be yours in no time."

"In this compact body there’s a lot of energy, but put me on a leash and I’m as good as gold. I want so much to go home with a nice human, or a group of them, when you come to see me I’ll be on my best behavior. Or my worst, because they are the same! I really am a jewel."

I’m curious and love to look around when I am out and about. I am so eager to meet people that sometimes a creep up a bit on the chain link of my run. You can’t blame me for having enthusiasm, can you? I’m a happy guy but I sure will be even happier when I have a home of my own. If it has dogs and cats, that will be probably be okay with me, too."

"I am a little Jack Russel gal who is as cute as can be! The doc said I am a little too round. That wasn’t very kind, was it? I happen to think I am gorgeous. But I guess it is a good thing to get good exercise and eat healthy as we age. I have some hip dysplasia but I think we could go for short walks together just fine. I love to look around at everything when I am out, and I love doing all sorts of things with a human friend. I really need one of those right now, or even a whole family of them. Can you help me out?"
