"Hi, I’m Elsa! Or you can call me Queen Elsa! I am a big jolly gal who is always wearing eyeliner. I have to admit, I don’t have the best leash skills, I forget that I can be powerful and tug on the leash a lot. I love to be around people but I can be picky with my K9 friends. As for cats, I’m just not fond of those critters. Since I’ve come to ADL, I’ve been treated for heartworms and the people in the hospital believe it caused me to have a heart murmur. This heart of mine is still strong and has a lot of love to give! I’ll just need to take it easy and be sure to not over exert myself. I wouldn’t mind lounging on a couch with my best friend. If you’re interested in making me your best friend and can handle a big doggy like me, then let’s meet!"
"Hi, I don’t oink like a little piggy, but I sure do love playing out and about! I will even wiggle my little butt full of joy for you! I walk amazing on a leash, I enjoy tons of human company, and I also love to eat yummy food! I would love if you can take me out on a nice walk to get to know me better. I am sure you will have a blast with me!"
"I will curiously look at you and be ready to love you. However, there is something a little special about me, I won’t be able to hear you because I’m deaf. If you have a treat for me, I will be so happy and smile! I’m a calm boy and have excellent leash walking manners. I would really like to have someone who I can relax with and call my best friend. Would you like to be my best friend?"
"Have I got a dog for you! That would be me, of course. I’m big, but I’ve been described as “pretty chill.” I’m good in crowds, and I love children, puppies and small dogs. And adult humans, of course. To my eternal shame, I’m afraid of big dogs. I guess I don’t recognize myself in the mirror. I’m good on the leash, and I love to go exploring. If you adopt me, I will make your life complete."
"Hi, I’m Brody! I’m a true ladies man – handsome, affectionate, and devoted to my girls! I don’t really like to share affection with other furbabies though. If you have another dog at home, we’ll need to have a meet and greet to make sure that we can be pals. I do great not only with the ladies but children too! Visit me at the Paul Jolly Center and give me a chance to win you over with my patent pending kisses!"
"Don’t you think I’m beautiful? There is so much of me to love, and I have so much love to give! I’m on a weight-loss journey, as they like to say here, but even when I reach the end of it, I won’t have lost any of that love – it will just be concentrated in a smaller package. I am full of sweetness, and hugs are my specialty. Sniffing around while on walks is lots of fun. I’m not supposed to have treats, but I will sit on command anyway. Wouldn’t it be great to help me go from full-figured to petite?"
"I am full of lots and lots of energy and love to play tug-a-war. I am told that I am very smart because I know sit, lay, stay, and leave it. I am a bit scared of strangers so the commands might not register as quickly but once we get to know one another and get each other’s vibes I’m sure we will be playing and jiving."
"I am an affectionate and playful goofball! I like to be around people and I prefer a home where I’m the only furbaby in the family. Sometimes my attention span is a little short when I’m outside for a walk because I like to check out all the action going on at ADL. I want to find an active person that I can go on adventures with and someone who will cherish me forever!"
"I have a big smile on my face because I am very excited to have you visiting my pet profile. I would love to give you a hug but you aren’t here yet! Once you come down, we can get to know each other and take a good long trip to the park, you’ll receive my full affection. I LOVE treats and I LOVE to be able to run around and explore. I feel like we need to meet in person to know more about each other! We will become best friends!"
"James is a royal name and being a mastiff means I come from royal blood. I’m very stoic and kingly unless you show me a treat. I love treats so much I unleash my goofy side to get you to give them to me. I’m possessive of my food and will guard it so it’s best I go home with a family with children 12 year and up. So if you’re looking for a king who can get down and be goofy then look no further than me!"
