You already knew that San Antonio is home to several breweries (you can see our list here) but if you haven't expanded your taste for craft beer outside of the Alamo City, you're definitely missing out. Whether you consider yourself a beer snob or you only occasionally sip on craft brews, there's a brewery within state limits that will meet the needs of every palate, no matter how picky you are. If you're looking to get out of the city to broaden your taste for Texas beers, you've come to the right place. Here are 22 Texas breweries outside of the city that we think most beer-drinking Texans (so, basically everyone) will enjoy.

Shannon Brewing Co., fire brews its beer with pure spring water, whole grain and whole flower hops. It’s also brewed with a whole lotta love, which falls right in line with all the other things. If you don’t think fire brewing is a big deal, you should really go check it out for yourself. It’s a super cool method.
