The Alamo City is home to quite a few colleges and universities, but the University of Texas at San Antonio, better known as UTSA, is a standout. With so many folks attending the UT system school — either because they grew up here and wanted to stay around, moved from a smaller Texas town to enjoy SA or just ended up here — UTSA is synonymous with San Antonio culture. It’s not hard to stumble upon a free concert — of some sort
Kind of. If you’re hanging out in the student union, on your way to the shuttles near Paseo del Sur and you’re walking in front of the arts building, sometimes there will be sections of the orchestra practicing out there. So, free music. Kind of a concert. Beggars can’t be choosers, alright?
