Whether fall is your favorite time of year or not, there's no denying the excitement of having a photoshoot within a pumpkin patch, or making your way through a corn maze. Here are 26 spots not too far from home where you can get in on the seasonal fun.

Sweet Berry Farm

If you’re up for a road trip, you may want to make plans to head to Marble Falls. There you’ll find the pumpkin patch, open daily (except Wednesdays). The seasonal patch also offers lots of other activities throughout the month, such as pumpkin painting, scarecrow stuffing, a barrel train, horse rides, hayrides and mazes. Be warned: activities are billed separately.

This local nursery is getting in on the seasonal fun. Stacks of hay bales and piles of pumpkins will be on-site, all leading up to the nursery’s annual Halloween event. The hay maze is already open, as is the pumpkin patch. The Terror Train is available for rides through the nursery and will be available through the Halloween Spook-tacular during the last weekend in October.
