The race for seis officially starts tonight, San Antonio.

The Spurs begin the 2015-2016 regular season tonight in Oklahoma City against the Thunder. Tipoff is at 7 p.m., and the game will be broadcast on both ESPN and KENS.

There are plenty of reasons to be excited about this year's campaign:

-The Spurs enter the year as definite title contenders.

-It could be the final go-round for the Big 3, as Tim Duncan or Manu Ginobili could retire after the season.

-The Spurs have some shiny new toys in LaMarcus Aldridge and David West who are proven assets.

-Kawhi Leonard, the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, should continue his ascension among the league's best two-way players. 

-We get a brand new batch of H-E-B Spurs commercials, starting today.
