Wednesday, February 4: Beer infusions are the main event at The Hangar Tavern's craft beer tasting in February. Friday, February 6: Spending a Friday night at Central Market sounds kind of sad – until you add chocolate to the mix. The CM staff will turn the store into a chocolate dreamscape with samples and tasting stations throughout the area. Friday, February 6: Pop-ups don't come any cuter than when put on by a pair of area cooks in love. Becka Rodgers and Dave Rizo will host Stand Banh Mi inside Faust Tavern with creative takes on the Vietnamese classic and a few other surprises. Friday, February 6: Bending Branch Winery knows how to pack in the romance. Stop in February 6-8 at Branch on High in Comfort for a tasting of six reserve and library wines as paired with Sweet Comfort Chocolates by Nancy. Sunday, February 8: San Antonio chefs will head to Stockdale's Vintage Heart Farm to host a Louisiana-style Boucherie or "butcher shop." Join Alamo City Provisions' John Russ, Pieter Sypesteyn, Diego Galicia, Rico Torres, Luis Morales, Jesse Torres and special guests Mark Weaver and James Canter as they demonstrate how to make classic dishes using the whole hog.
