Friday, June 5:
Cured at Pearl will team up with Ranger Creek Brewing & Distilling to host the "Midnight Casking of Range Creek Dark Side of the Funk". Dark Side of the Funk is a black IPA and will be available for purchase courtesy of the brewing company. Aged in sour barrels, the beer will be used to celebrate the first weekend of Cured at Pearl's Offal Hours menu. Free admission, midnight, 306 Pearl Pkwy., (210) 314-3929.

Saturday, June 6: Amaya's Tacos, Pops BBQ is hosting a barbecue pop-up on the first and third of every month. Choose from brisket tacos, ribs, chicken and sausage, and sides will include roasted corn, jalapeño macaroni, Mexican rice and beans. Prices may vary, 5pm-8pm, 1502 E. Commerce, (210) 265-5449.

Sunday, June 7: Milan & Turin Co. continues their Summer Takeover Series by taking over Park Social. This week, the company is featuring a small menu that includes classics and neo-classics such as Highland Park Scotch, Pierre Ferrand Cognac and curaçao, Brugal rums and Dripping Springs gin. Sunday, June 7: Lasting both Sunday and Monday evenings Amaya's Tacos will finally add dinner service for their customers. The event will feature patio seating, as well as, an option to bring your own beer. Come to Amaya's Sunday and Monday night so the breakfast and brunch restaurant can show you they know how to do dinner as well. Prices vary, 5pm-8pm, 1502 E. Commerce, (210) 265-5449.

Sunday, June 7: The folks at Barbaro will host a "Challenge the Rack" competition. Based on Speed Rack-style competitions, the event will pit local bartenders against those who think they have what it takes to our serve them. You can have fun whether you participate or just decide to spectate, but either way Barbaro will be full of action. Free admission, $10 entry to participate in competition, 10pm-2am, 2720 McCullough Ave., (210) 320-2261. 

Tuesday, June 9: Speaking of competition, nothing gets more competitive than a sibling rivalry. Duking it out at Mezcaleria Mixtli, the Peña brothers, Jeret and Jorel, two local bartenders at The Last Word will compete to see who can make the better cocktails. Audience members will be able to vote on who will win "The Melee at Mixtli" until midnight. Prices may vary, 9pm-midnight, 5313 McCullough Ave., (856) 630-5142.

Wednesday, June 10: Join the Witte Museum as they host their Culinary Night. The event will feature barbecue-themed food and festivities , as well as, icy brews. The food will be curated by Nelson Millan, Executive Chef of the San Antonio Country Club and Les Locke, master brewer with Southerleigh. Admission is $50 per person or $45 with a membership, 6:30pm-8:30pm, 3801 Broadway, (210) 357-1900.
