    Lucentio loves Bianca but cannot court her until her shrewish older sister Katherina marries. The eccentric Petruccio marries the reluctant Katherina and uses a number of tactics to render her an obedient wife. This production turns Shakespeare’s fierce, energetic comedy of gender and materialism on its head to offer a fresh perspective on its portrayal of hierarchy and power. (210) 829-3810

    Trinity University Theatre presents Cuban American playwright Maria Irene Fornés’ innovative and groundbreaking FEFU AND HER FRIENDS from Apr. 12 - 20 in The Stieren Theatre. FEFU has been praised as "funny and shocking…the dramatic equivalent of a collection of poems… Seven friends gather at Fefu’s house for a kind of reunion… exploring lives and quite specifically the pain, strain, comforts, and fragility of women’s lives.” (Richard Eder, The New York Times.)     The Amazing Acro-Cats, featured in the Netflix series Cat People, are coming to San Antonio! This troupe of trained domestic house cats, all former orphans, rescues, and strays, give a one-of-a-kind purrformance that includes cats riding skateboards, jumping through hoops, ringing bells, balancing on balls, and performing other feats of agility and entertainment. The show finale is the only all-cat band in the world: Tuna and the Rock Cats. The Rock Cats play guitar, drums, and piano, and they've been joined by the Jazz Cats on saxophone, trumpet, and clarinet. The Acro-Cats tour to support Rock Cats Rescue, a 501(c)(3)
