Join a cultural dance workshop and be a part of the diversity Project SMASH offers. Ranging from the styles of Afro-Beats to belly dance and others in between, Smash Dance's instructors will take you on a dancing journey around the world. Donation proceeds allow Project SMASH to continue offering dance scholarships to members of the community who could otherwise not afford classes. This is a monthly jam session where all artists and styles of dance come together to vibe, create, cypher and compete in a positive atmosphere. Monthly champions for the tournament will be crowned including the kids division (ages 6-14) and adult division (ages 15 and up). A $5 donation will help Project SMASH 501(c)3 continue providing dance lessons for local shelters, rehabilitation centers and children homes plus provide scholarships for dance lessons for less fortunate children. Moving Arts Project

Moving Arts Project is the newest collaboration with Ella Austin Community Center, which focuses on presenting new choreographic and performance pieces being made in San Antonio for feedback for three local dance artists and choreographers. Collaboration and experimentation is encouraged, providing a safe space for local and regional dance artists to present and promote work. Join Alamo City Performing Arts at their Fall Festival of Dance for food, games, ballet and fun for the whole family. Their repertory of ballets will include Paquita and Rhapsody Black and White staged and choreographed by Susan Trevino. Special guest dancers from Sam Houston University will perform two pieces choreographed by Joshua Manculich who is the professor of dance. If that isn't enough they will also have the children's ballet classic Peter and the Wolf choreographed and staged by Scott Conway with live orchestration by Symphony Viva.
