Families will enjoy trick-or-treating, face painting, DJ music, a river parade and a family-friendly costume contest. Kids 17 and under can enter as individuals while siblings and families can enter the family costume category.

39th Annual Medina Lake Cajun Festival celebrates the culture of Louisiana with Cajun food. Cajun and Zydeco music with bands from Louisiana rocking all day long with two large dance floors. Sample gumbos in the Great Gumbo Cook-off. There will be arts and crafts for adults and there will be plenty of games for the kids. Authentic Cajun food such as jambalaya, crawfish pies, Cajun shrimp and catfish, breading pudding with whiskey sauce and much more is homemade by volunteers.
