Texas (1954) landmark Supreme Court decision, MACRI and MonteVideo present a reception and screening of the documentary film A Class Apart. Hernandez v. Texas (1954) extended equal protection under the 14th Amendment of the Constitution to Mexican Americans, setting an important precedent for future Mexican American civil rights cases.
