    The Scooby Van of San Antonio will be at the Rolling Oaks Mall each Saturday from 12-2 pm and collecting gently used children’s books. These books will be given to underserved kids in San Antonio. The Scooby Van will be parked outside the main entrance for photo op fun and we will be inside (main foyer) collecting books. Free Scooby snacks for all book donors. Book dropoff will take place inside the mall. There's a free game for the kids (everyone wins a prize) and you can enter for a chance to win 2 Pogo Passes.     UTSA School of Music will welcome Grammy-winning classical guitar virtuoso David Russell to the UTSA Recital Hall April 20th at 7:30 PM for a concert featuring his 2024 USA program. The pieces on his program are from well-known Spanish composers like J. Broca’s Pensamiento Espanol, Bendetto Marcello’s Sonata, and F. Moreno Torroba’s Castillos de España. Russell will also present a classical guitar arrangement of J.S. Bach’s Flute Sonata in E minor, BWV 1034. Alongside the performance, a slideshow presentation will give audiences beautiful depictions of these places to accompany the music they will hear. Admission is free. (210) 458-4354
