Here, artists picture swimmers, capture moonlit lakes, re-create a shimmering pool, map unknown watercourses, or depict mythic tales associated with oceans or rivers. These works are balanced by others that allude to or characterize water like bridges, boats, borders, depth, fluidity, motion, purification, reflection, source, and its alterable state.
