Hearty Greek favorites in a quaint faux-taverna adorned with murals of the Mediterranean.
Demo's restaurant is located right across from a local Greek Orthodox church and is one of two restaurants. St. Mary's Demo's features belly dancers on Wednesday nights, and delicious Greek food every night.
This is our best kept secret, Demo’s Stone Oak location in The Vineyard Shopping Center at the corner of Loop 1604 and Blanco Rd. At Demo’s we offer our guests a unique dining experience, similar to a quaint village on a Greek Island complete with Greek Music, good food and fun.
This cafe featuring home-style food has been around since the late '30s. Country and Tex-Mex dishes are both a part of the menu.
The fun of this place is bantering with the waitresses who are required to be both hilarious and extremely rude.
Small, family-owned bakery with extremely friendly employees and good pan dulce.
Don't let the name fool you; Dolores del Rio is not another faceless Mexican restaurant that lines our tourist-ridden River Walk. Instead, it serves San Antonio's second favorite cuisine, Italian, and does it the right way, with a few extras: unforgettable entertainment, hospitable service, and an interesting dining atmosphere. While Dolores del Rio requires reservations on weekend nights, its class isn't obvious from the outside. Since there were no diners seated at the lovely patio area, we nearly passed it up on our first visit. Dolores is secluded, tucked in a dark room up a narrow flight of stairs, with no view of the river. The low ceilings, brick walls, and compressed seating give the restaurant a speakeasy feel, as if diners were hidden under a large stairwell or a secret room. - Xelena Gonzalez

The finest pie in town (and authentically, officially Neapolitan), with a crisp and savory crust topped with fresh, milky mozzarella melting into the sweet and tart sauce. Excellent appetizers, too. Current readers named Dough Best Local Pizza ’08 and ’09.
Tasty Chinese cuisine at inexpensive prices.
Good food and prices for the Chinese food freak.
This upscale yet comfy lounge pairs a forward-thinking wine list with casual but imaginative tapas and chunky furniture that can swallow you whole for hours. Drawing a sophisticated crowd of locals and tourists, it also features better-than-average bar/restaurant art.
The Drive Bar & Grill is set in one of the most beautifull settings in South Texas. We are surrounded by "Yards Golf", one of the biggest and prettiest public driving ranges to be found. The place is unbelieveable, it's a must see! And, the food is to die for. We are kind of unique being a family oriented, fine dining, live music venue. Come see us and bring the family to our huge 40-acre playground.
