Organized by the survivors of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting on February 14, the March For Our Lives will take place in dozens of cities across the country. San Antonio's march will meet at City Hall at noon on Saturday, March 24.
Powered by hashtags like #NeverAgain and #MDStrong, the survivors of the shooting have earned the respect of Lyft co-founders John Zimmer and Logan Green.
"Your bravery and intelligence have provided a renewed and much needed hope for our future," they wrote in a letter to the students. "We are incredibly grateful for the example you are setting."
Furthermore, Lyft has committed to up to $1.5 million in free rides in 50 cities where there is a local March For Our Lives.
In order to take advantage of the offer, you can RSVP to the march here. You will receive a ride code on Friday, March 23. If you're unable to RSVP, you can still receive a ride code here beginning Saturday morning. You'll have to mark the rallypoint as your destination and can access that information in the "promos" tab of the Lyft app. The code will cover up to $15 of the ride.
