Here are six ways San Antonio can kickoff their summer with a crisp beer.

Throw Some Chanclas // Head on over to Busted Sandal Brewing to celebrate summer “the Chancla way" on June 30. They will be serving $4 beers all day. At noon, the 210 Watermelon Ale and Tanlines Pale Ale taps will begin flowing. At 5 p.m., the spread will feature signature watermelon Hefeweizen Cask tapping and Pank Drank. Enjoy Some Complimentary Pairings // For a night of palate play, The General Public and Saint Arnold Brewing Company are kicking off a beer pairing dinner available June 25 through July 1 at $25 per person. The four-course prix fixe menu will feature a delicious complimentary brew every step of the way. Start with Fancy Lawnmower with a young kale salad with Parmigiano-Reggiano and Santo Black Kölsch with muenster and beef picadillo enchiladas. The main event? Enjoy an amber ale with hand cut rib eye. Drink A Cold One With Beto // Catch a beer with Texas Democratic Senator candidate Beto O’Rourke at Beers with Beto at Burleson Yard Beer Garden from 6 to 8 p.m. on June 29. Not only will get to know the Ted Cruz opponent, you’ll enjoy some cold ones and a musical performance by San Antonio artist Nina Diaz. Celebrate Belgium // If you fancy yourself a connoisseur of traditional lambic-style beers,  High Street Wine Company is hosting a party in honor of the famous specialty Belgium brew, Cantillon. For the July 11 event, they will have a unique selection of Belgian beers and wine from 1 to 9 p.m. Plus, a raffle with your chance to win exclusive imported Brasserie Cantillon beers. Get Out On A Friday // In honor of their new bar, La Tuna Ice House is hosting a First Friday event each month honoring a new local craft beer. Schedule a Brewstillery Tour // On June 30 at 2 p.m., you can learn the behind the scenes methods to the beer and bourbon making madness at the home of the iconic San Antonio lager. While the tour emphasizes education, it guarantees a drink in your hands as you maneuver through the process. The package in total is $10 but includes the guided tour, a souvenir pint glass, and 3 samples of their product. While it is of course 21 and up, kids are welcome under tight supervision along this adult Magic School Bus-esque tour. RSVP here.
