Cute New Duo HunnyBunny Making San Antonio Debut at La Botanica

HunnyBunny, the cutest and coolest new duo in town, will play its second live set ever at La Botanica this weekend. (Its first was a few weeks back in ATX.) As the adorable name might give away, the members of HunnyBunny — Bridgette Norris-Sanchez and Bobby Rivas (of FEA, Islands & Tigers) — are romantic as well as musical partners. And, at least from the little tastes we’ve gotten so far (a few live clips and a few covers posted to Soundcloud), the chemistry between the two lends an easy-going, intimate warmth to their still-evolving indie pop-meets-R&B sound.

High-energy indie dance-rock crew Rivers Want and the ever-entertaining pop heartthrob Wayne Holtz, with whom the busy Rivas also plays, round out the bill — the last of the year at La Botanica.
