The Spurs' trips to the NBA Finals have drawn celebrities ranging from Lenny Kravitz and Serena Williams to Spike Lee and George Strait.

College bowl games just can't hope to harness that kind of star power.

And here's proof. So far, the biggest celeb hoopla around Friday's Alamo Bowl focuses on "The Bush Guy," the flannel-wearing TV pitchman for Anheuser-Busch InBev, which makes Busch, Bud and other brews.

The outdoorsy everyman, who debuted in Busch's 2017 Super Bowl ads, will appear around S.A. in advance of Iowa State's game against Washington State at the Alamodome, according to the Des Moines Register.

As proof, the paper pointed to this 15-second Twitter video in which the Busch Guy appears to prep San Antonio warehouse workers for the heroic beer consumption the game will unleash.

"Last year, (Iowa State fans) drank Memphis out of Busch Light," he warns, walking past workers lined up like soldiers at inspection. "Let's stay strong, let's stay smart and let's stay stocked!"

Not exactly NBA-level glitz and glam. But we're guessing college football fans will rest easier knowing at least one brewer's pledged not to run out of suds.
