Local photographer Mark Menjivar has spent the past few years collecting stories, objects and photographs for his Luck Archive project, which has been exhibited in San Antonio, Asheville, N.C., and Portland, Ore.
He recently teamed up with Minor League baseball team the San Antonio Missions to learn their views on luck, superstition and the "baseball gods." The Missions begin their Texas League playoffs this week against the Corpus Christi Hooks.
