Art Installations To Show Another Face of the United States

The Esperanza Peace and Justice Center is working with the Inside Out Project Thursday, from 11am-7pm. Stop by to learn more and get your portrait taken in the photobooth truck. The Inside Out Project is an international project led by TED speaker JR, a passionate street artist that helps connect communities through his creative use of photographs. JR travels around the country creating large murals in public spaces of photos of all Americans in the community including recent immigrants and descendants of immigrants. The Inside Out Project aim is to spark conversations about the true portrait of the United States and encourage observers to realize their country's and City's rich diversity and heritage.
