Toga, toga, toga!
The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, 1255 SW Loop 410, celebrates its first birthday Saturday, September 24, with an outdoor screening of the frat-house flick, Animal House. It will be shown on a three-story, inflatable outdoor screen, with munchies including the Belushi burger - a cheeseburger befitting of the film's star - hot dogs, and beverages including Alamo Amber beer.

They'll take Manhattan
The Manhattan Short Film Festival concludes Friday, September 23, and Saturday, September 24, at Urban-15, 2500 S. Presa. `See story, "Get out the vote," September 15-21, 2005.` Audience members in 30 cities vote on 12 films, and the winner will be announced in New York City on Sunday, September 25.
