ARTIFACTS

Faithful Artifacts followers, forgive me. Why, you ask? I totally missed the boat on the San Antonio & Beyond prepaid pass. Yeah, if you didn’t take advantage of the pass during spring break, I’ll take full responsibility.

Let me explain, it really is pretty awesome if you’re a tourist (if you’re a local, not so much because of the short time span `seven consecutive days!` you can use it in). Purchase a child’s super pass for $39 (September through April, prices hike up $20 in the summer months) and you’ve gained access to 15 local attractions. If you’d rather visit museums with the family there’s a specific pass for that, too (and at a much cheaper rate — $19 for children), and a downtown pass that includes access aboard a trolley tour, a trip through the Ultimate Mirror maze, and more.

If you still have a few more off-days, might we suggest a visit to the newly revamped Japanese Tea Garden. It’s been a little over two weeks since the Garden has opened and locals have flocked to see the Brackenridge treasure. (I took an extended lunch myself to check it out recently and it was gorgeous.) See it for yourself!
