“Hellbent” — Pack of Wolves

Pack of Wolves attack the track like, well, some sort of large grouping of predatory mammals, perhaps — say, a herd of rambunctious raccoons. “I am a warrior bent on destruction,” vocalist-guitarist Trey Ramirez snarls like a rabid ring-tailed robber. “I’ll leave your rotting, burning corpse in my wake.” But the rusty-nail guitar riffs are up to their own hijinks, changing timing every few seconds to assault your eardrums on fresh fronts with the clever efficacy of those wily little people-handed rodents tipping over the neighborhood trashcans “Pain. Pain. Suffer,” Ramiez continues. Aww. Sounds like some certain little nocturnal mischief-makers are cranky after a big night out.
