12 Tracks for Muertos Fest at La Villita

It's time to festoon loved one's altars with marigolds, bedazzled sugar skulls and scented candles during Dia de los Muertos this weekend. The cultural holiday holds a special place in the hearts of San Antonians due to our city's rich Mexican community. What better way to honor our dearly departed  than to celebrate life and family at La Villita's Muertos Fest, with a stunning roster of homegrown talent putting a spin on the traditional sounds of Dia de los Muertos. Along with live music, there will be a costume contest, so break out your face paint and an altar decorating contest with prizes ranging in the from $2,000 to $500.
