Uber is offering free rides on Thursday for Fiesta!
Uber just couldn't miss Fiesta. Can you blame them?
This Thursday the ride-share company is offering free rides to revelers.
"Ever since Uber was forced to leave town, there has been a lot of buzz and concern on how San Antonians will get home safely. Uber was founded with the goal to provide a reliable option when you need it most," the company said in an email. "Since the only thing standing in the way of you and a safe ride home are antiquated rules that regulate transportation for hire companies, we're giving these rides away for free on Thursday!"
All you have to do is open the Uber application after 4 p.m. Thursday and until 4 a.m. Friday, make a request and connect with a driver for a free trip.
Just be warned, the company is expecting a ton of requests.
"Demand may be high, so keep trying," Uber advised.
