Wednesday, May 27: Nepal-born owner of Austin-based Tarka Indian Cuisine will team up with Mercy Corp this week to raise earthquake-relief funds for the South Asian country, which is recuperating from last month's 'quake that took more than 8,000 lives. Friday, May 29: Pollo Tropical, a Caribbean-inspired fast casual chain restaurant, is slowly expanding its San Antonio footprint with the opening of its fourth location off 281 North and Evans. Saturday, May 30: It's time for a carnival-themed party at Max's Wine Dive. The Houston-based eatery will host Wine-O-Palooza on its patio with chocolate covered bacon, chicken and waffle sliders on a stick and funnel cake as made by chef Lionel "Butch" Blache. Sunday, May 31: Support the San Antonio Food Bank's Summer Food Service Program while dining al fresco.
