There are two debates between 2016 wannabe GOP presidential nominees tomorrow, and Rick Perry is not in the one he'd like to be.
Perry failed to make the cut for Thursday’s main event, which features 10 GOP heavies such as former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker and hat-wearing human Donald Trump.
That means that the longest-serving governor of Texas is relegated to the undercard, a debate on Fox News at 4 p.m. CT.
It’s a big blow for Perry's campaign. Like a 14-year-old at the kids’ table, Perry is probably a little overqualified for the earlier debate. But he seems to be taking it in stride:
I look forward to being @FoxNews 5pm debate for what will be a serious exchange of ideas & positive solutions to get America back on track.

The six who make up Perry’s competition are probably people you have never heard of. In fact, let's test that out.
Half of the names on the list below are would-be GOP presidential nominees participating in the earlier presidential debate with Perry, and half are not. See if you can pick out which is which:
1. Charles Fairbanks
2. Rick Santorum
3. George Pataki
4. Mike Sanders
5. Bobby Jindal
6. Mark Roberts
7. Jim Gilmore
8. Carly Fiorina
9. Bob Bretall
10. Michael Bishop
11. Lindsey Graham
12. James Rebhorn
